CST are one of the UK’s longest established manufacturers of Galvanised Mild Steel Fire Water Storage Tanks for Sprinkler and Hydrant systems. Established in 1974 as Vulcan Tanks and one of the earliest members of the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), CST provide storage tanks complying to LPCB, FM and NFPA22 standards.
With approvals for LPCB covering tanks from 10m3 to 1300m3 and pre-approved FM capacities from 10m3 to 2,500m3 (larger sizes are available), CST offers a comprehensive range for the European market.
Currently supplying in excess of 400 tanks per year into the UK, Western & Central Europe, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia; CST are experienced exporters with construction capabilities worldwide.
Based in Alfreton (UK), CST work directly with sprinkler contractors and end users as well as with local distributors to ensure the best fit product for the customer. All CST tanks are manufactured in our ISO9001 certified production facility in the UK that is audited by FM and LPCB. We offer both liner sealed and mastic sealed tanks dependant on the site requirements with insulation if necessary and all relevant accessories from EN12845 approved Vortex Inhibitors to Type ‘A’ airgap ball float valve houses.
