Award winning fire safety systems contractor Fire Design Solutions (FDS) is continuing to expand its offering and scope with the appointment of a new Contract Manager to its team.
Keven Truelove, who brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, has a long history of working in project, program and contract manager positions. This includes roles at Bouygues, Chubb Electronic Security, General Dynamics (UK) and Fujitsu Services, and his work has taken him as far afield as Asia and the Middle-East.
Supporting FDS’ impressive and ambitious growth plan, Keven will assist the business by working on site and at clients’ offices reviewing contracts, managing them as they progress, and supporting project managers. He will also work to see the implementation of new processes, helping projects run even more efficiently by allowing the rapid identification and correction of any potential issues.
Speaking on his appointment, Keven said: “After meeting with Nick [Waterfield, Managing Director at FDS] and the rest of the team, it was a natural fit for me.
“FDS is a fantastic company, and I look forward to working with the passionate and knowledgeable team here to provide best-in-class solutions and services for our customers.”
Nick Waterfield, MD at FDS added: “On seeing Keven’s experience and then meeting him I have no doubt that he’s the right person for the role. As Fire Design Solutions continues to develop we want to make sure that our customers receive the same great service that they have come to expect.
“By bringing Keven on board we can ensure that our contract processes are kept up to date, allowing our clients to focus on the primary job of building and developing new properties, safe in the knowledge that their projects are being handled by experienced experts.”
The FDS team is happy to welcome Keven, and looks forward to working with him closely as the company continues to grow.
