Great news from Hong Kong as Bruce Wong has been appointed to the Editorial Advisory Board of MDM Publishing Ltd where he will assist the board and directors of MDM Publishing in sourcing the most current and interesting editorial content from his field of expertise.
Having served voluntary emergency service in Hong Kong for more than 20 years, Bruce has served in a wide spectrum of posts encompassing training and frontline operational commands.
Over the years, he has built his credentials in international urban search and rescue (USAR) and emergency management, and actively participated in the United Nations International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) activities, such as earthquake response exercises and meetings. He is also involved in the capacity building projects for emergency NGOs throughout the region.
Bruce is actively involved in public services and is a Country Representative of the International Association of Emergency Managers, a Deputy Convener of USAR Working Group of the International Technical Rescue Association, Asia-Pacific Ambassador to Institute of Civil Protection and Emergency Management, and a Principal Member of Technical Search and Rescue Committee and Fire Service Occupational Safety Committee of National Fire Protection Association.
