Patol has announced an extension to its sales team with the appointment of Jo Higgins as the new Sales Manager.
Jo joins from her most recent position with smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems company Adexsi, where she sold service & maintenance contracts and refits for smoke control systems. She was responsible for the South East of the UK and numbered prestigious projects in Canary Wharf and the contract for London Luton Airport amongst her more notable successes.
Jo’s experience in fire also extends beyond that, having worked on a contract in fire suppression technology with Kidde and as Head of Sales at Warrington Fire, the specialist in Testing, Inspection and Certification. For the latter she was based at the High Wycombe Testing House, responsible for generating, retaining and growing a strong pipeline for all fire resistance testing, along with smoke & acoustic testing, for eight Testing Officers during her four years with the business.
At Patol Jo is heading up the sales team across the whole portfolio of smoke, fire and heat detection solutions, from linear heat detection cable (LHDC) and infrared transit sensors to aspirating smoke detectors and thermal imaging.
Commenting on her appointment, Jo said – “there is real potential for growth at Patol and I am pleased to have the opportunity to be part of that growth. I’m already getting involved in site surveys and product demonstrations and look forward to establishing meetings with consultants in due course. It is an impressive range of products which I’m getting to grips with, relishing the challenges that the role brings.”

Jo lives in the village of Stokenchurch and cites walking in the Buckinghamshire countryside as one of her favourite activities.
