As part of their product development programme, Vert projects has been undertaking a range of fire resistance tests on the Pyrostyle fully glazed fire doors and screens. Tests are being conducted to BS EN 1634 -1, as the company, have an eye on ultimately CE marking their doorsets, when a Harmonised Standard is agreed by the European Commission. In the latest test undertaken at Cambridge Fire, one door achieved 2 hours fire resistance, whilst another door with a full-height sidelight achieved in excess of 80 minutes. Vert Projects have invested heavily in the Pyrostyle brand and are currently involved in several prestigious projects
throughout the London area.
Further fire tests are planned during the rest of 2019 and into 2020, as the company continues to expand and enhance the range.
