Both of these sprinklers are assembled and tested in Reliable’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the USA.
Model G5-80F Concealed Sprinkler:
The Model G5-80F sprinkler is the first FM Approved flat cover plate concealed sprinkler with a K-factor of 115 lpm/bar½ (8.0 gpm/psi½). FM Property Loss Prevention Data Sheet 3-26 currently requires sprinklers with a minimum K-factor of 115 (8.0) in HC-2 occupancies with ceilings up to 18 m high and HC-1 occupancies with ceilings ranging from 9 to 18 m in height.
With the release of the model G5-80F sprinkler, Reliable now provides a flat cover plate sprinkler that is FM Approved for installation in HC-2 occupancies such as casinos, convention centers, food processing areas, mercantile/retail areas, theaters, and auditoriums, where a sprinkler with a minimum K-factor of 115 (8.0) is required based on the ceiling height. Similarly, aesthetically sensitive areas of HC-1 occupancies, such as atriums and museums, now have an FM Approved flat cover plate concealed sprinkler option where a K115 (8.0) sprinkler is required due to the ceiling height.
The Model G5-80F sprinkler is available with flat cover plates in a variety of colours and finishes. The sprinkler is also FM Approved with Reliable’s stainless steel clad cover plates. Both painted and stainless steel clad cover plates are offered with or without a factory-installed gasket that sits between the cover plate and the ceiling.
An added benefit of specifying concealed sprinklers is that the sprinkler deflector and operating mechanism are hidden behind the cover plate, making damage from mechanical impact from foreign objects (such as stepladders when lighting and other services are being maintained) less likely.

Model J112SS Stainless Steel Extended Coverage Sprinkler:
In a first, the model J112SS sprinkler brings together the cost saving benefits of Extended Coverage technology (fewer pipes, sprinklers, brackets = quicker & less expensive installation), with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
Model J112SS sprinklers are cULus Listed extended coverage sprinklers with a frame and deflector made of Type 316L/316 stainless steel. The sprinklers are also cULus Listed as Corrosion Resistant.
Two Model J112SS sprinklers are offered: upright and pendent. Both sprinklers are cULus Listed for use in Light Hazard and Ordinary Hazard occupancies. The sprinklers have a maximum listed spacing of up to 6.1 m by 6.1 m, which provides the opportunity to substantially reduce the number of sprinklers required compared with standard coverage sprinklers.
