The device consists of a heavy-gauge galvanized steel pathway and wall plates lined with intumescent materials. Fast-acting intumescent performance: engineered for rapid expansion when exposed to fire or high temperatures, this intumescent material responds to flames or heat by quickly sealing the pathway and preventing the passage of fire and smoke.
