Mr Robert Llewellyn, chairman of the Confederation of Fire Protection Associations-Asia and Mr Kwok Chi-Shun (Joseph), CFPA board member as well as Ex-Director of the Hong Kong Fire Service Department, have both been awarded honours for their service to fire safety in the Federation of Malaysia.
The awards, Pingat Khidmat Berbakti (PKB) (Federation Meritorious Service Medal) (1960) are part of the Malaysia honours system. They were presented by Datuk Seri Haji Wan Mohd Nor Haji Ibrahim, Director General of Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, at the Malaysian Fire Conference on the 28th March.
Both recipients have contributed to CFPA-A for many years as active board members.
