Aquatech® – water mist
Aquatech® is conceived to be highly modular with advanced performance capable of suppressing the most severe fires, thanks to the latest generation of directable water atomising nozzles.
The micro-droplets discharged by the system, before reaching the fire, turn into vapour which propagates and displaces the oxygen in the combustion area and thus suppresses the fire.
The oxygen displacement occurs only near the source of the fire. In surrounding areas the percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere remains unchanged, allowing any people present to breath normally. Furthermore, the rapid transformation of water into vapour causes an immediate reduction in temperature, preventing the fire propagation.
Before reaching the fire, the micro-droplets remove gases and hydro-soluble smoke, becoming heavier and so falling down.
Aquatech® extinguishes fires very rapidly and guarantees both extreme volumetric and local protection.
It is a 100% eco-friendly solution as it does not require dismantling operations and offers a higher level of suppression than traditional systems, drastically reducing water consumption, damage to the environment and recovery times. For this reason, Aquatech® effectiveness can be found today in scenarios in which the use of water as an extinguishing agent was previously discarded, as in the CED premises. Moreover, where traditional water-based technologies are not suitable, Aquatech® represents a valid ecological alternative for human safety.
Aquatech® – Deluxe invisible water mist
Aquatech® Deluxe is the revolutionary and certified invisible water-mist solution conceived to protect luxurious places.
It is a high-pressure water-mist system, which generates a subtle mist of micro-droplets directed through appropriate discharger nozzles, completely engineered, manufactured and tested in Tema laboratories.
Aquatech® Deluxe combines the reliability of the water-mist fire solution with a contemporary, elegant and customisable design made in Italy. The innovative Aquatech® water-mist technology intelligently exploits the extreme extinguishing power of a simple water droplet. The stainless-steel pipes fixed to the ceiling have diameters considerably reduced compared to traditional water systems, thanks to the very low flow rates of the Aquatech® nozzles.
It is invisible and appears only when it is activated to extinguish the fire.
Made with high-quality materials, Aquatech® Deluxe ‘appearing’ nozzles, produced by Tema Sistemi, are the smallest on the international market. In addition, they are equipped with accessories that can be completely customised both in terms of materials and colours.
FireFive®: The next-generation wetting agent and micelle encapsulator
FireFive® is the innovative UL-certified wetting agent distributed by Tema Sistemi which revolutionised the traditional approach of firefighting.
FireFive® is more than a wetting agent and is able to maximise the extinguishing power and cooling capacity of water. It is also a micelle encapsulator, which neutralises hydrocarbon molecules.
Laboratory and field tests on live fires, performed in cooperation with firefighters and military bodies, have shown that FireFive®, mixed with water in a very low percentage, inhibits the basic chain reaction of the combustion process and extinguishes class A, B, D and F fires. Moreover, it can suppress three-dimensional fires, which, as is commonly known, foams cannot suppress.
FireFive® is biodegradable, non-toxic and not corrosive, with an effectiveness even in the most extreme atmospheric conditions (effective to -28°C / -18°F).
Its efficiency is tested and certified by UL according to Regulation NFPA 18 and RINA.
In compliance with European REACH Regulation for chemical-agent classification, FireFive® requires no special equipment and can be used both with fire mixer and in premixed solution.
