Zug, Switzerland, March 2026 – Euralarm has welcomed VdS as new associate member. The company will become member of Euralarm’s Extinguishing, Fire, Security and Services Sections.
VdS is one of the world’s most renowned institutions for corporate safety and security. Around 500 experts offer a unique range of services for fire protection, security, cyber security and natural hazard prevention.
Services include risk assessments, testing and certification, inspection services, information systems for natural hazards and an extensive training programme. Four sections
VdS will join all Euralarm sections.
The Extinguishing Section is stimulating awareness of integrated extinguishing products and systems. While working on initiatives to enhance safety of life and property, the Section advocates quality and reliability using state of the art technology.
The Fire Section monitors technical and political trends and takes action to guide, influence their development and improve them. We collaborate on finding solutions for today’s as well as tomorrow’s challenges for fire safety.
The Services Section aims to be at the forefront of the development of standards for new and innovative services. Members circulate up-to date market developments, to keep informed of new innovations.
Finally, the Security Section closely follows technological developments, regulations and standardisation. Concerning standards, Euralarm continues informing members of changes and lobbying activities at both national and EU levels.
