Hochiki Europe will outline bright future at LuxLive at London’s ExCeL from 15th-16th November

Following a year of growth and financial success, leading life safety systems manufacturer Hochiki Europe is returning to LuxLive in London’s ExCeL from 15^th-16^th November. Representatives from the company will be on stand N42, offering live product demonstrations and giving practical advice to attendees at the show.

Ian Watts, Hochiki Europe’s Emergency Lighting Manager, will be outlining best practice regarding the latest standards around emergency luminaries when he contributes to the planned educational seminars throughout the event. Ian will present “Is my emergency lighting compliant?” – a snapshot presentation outlining the major changes just applied to the standard – in the Escape Zone at 10:30 am on the first day.

Hochiki Europe, which saw a record financial year in 2017, will be showcasing its ground-breaking combined emergency lighting and fire detection system, FIREscape+. FIREscape+ has been specially designed to inform building occupants of unsafe exit routes during emergencies. In normal circumstances, emergency exit signs show the internationally recognised running man in a door and directional arrow. However, in the case of an emergency, a red cross will be displayed above any unsafe exits, helping to minimise risk and danger for building occupants. This is made possible by the product’s shared system in which emergency exit signs and luminaires sit on the same loop as fire detectors being controlled by the same panel.

FIREscape+ is based on the award-winning FIREscape emergency lighting system, which will also be on display on stand N42 at this year’s LuxLive.

FIREscape is an innovative emergency lighting system that is both cost and energy efficient. Using LED technology, extra low-voltage cabling and an addressable control panel, the system offers end users financial savings of up to 95 percent in energy costs.
